How To Read Roman Numerals.

there is an easy way to read Roman Numerals. here’s a tip I=1, V=5, X=10 L=50,C=100, D=500, M=1000. There are 4 basic principles in reading roman numerals.

1. A letter can repeat its value only 3 times.(XXX=30)

2. if one letter is after another letter of greater value, then add it. (VI=6)

3. if a letter is place before a letter with greater value, then subtract it. (IV=4)

4. a bar placed on a letter increases its value 1,000 times —

(XX)

1. The Washington Nationals. they have turned hot in the last week or so, due to the adding of rookie sensation Bryce Harper. I like the kid but Cole Hamels a lefty for the Phillies intentionally hit him in the back and at only 19 years old he is know for his speed, Defense, and hitting ability.

2. The Miami Marlins. Adding all star Jose Reyes a shortstop and moving Omar Infante to 3rd base. and adding a AAA catcher John Buck to help with the lineup they will be the team to watch this year with there new stadium also. 3. The Los Angeles Angels. with the adding of ACE pitcher CJ Wilson from the Texas Rangers and the best hitter in the major leagues Albert Pujols. who hasn’t hit a home run in 110 at bats until 2 days ago he belted his first against the Cleveland Indians to left field.

the twins are sucking so bad that we started the year 6 and 18 this year and are last in the division at 5th. we have a win percentage at .250 last night we lost 9-0 and jered weaver threw a no-hitter against us. and struck out 9 including Mauer. But Alexi Casilla hits one deep to the warning track in right and all 27 thousand fans were dead silent like you could hear a pin drop but then he catches it, and the crowd is nuts.

i think we can do better we have in the past for 11 straight years but have lost against the Yankees every time. But i’m glad that we get the 1st pick in the rule 5 draft coming up in June. maybe we can draft another Joe Mauer again then use him in the upcoming years.
